Where is home for you?

I come from the Deep South of Italy, Catania the city sits on the foot of Vulcan Etna. However, my home is London too.

What brought you to London?

My insoluble passion for food and all truly tasty things.

What is it about wine that you love?

I love wine in general - I’m not actually a specialist, maybe just a fanatical, following a quote from Game of Thrones “I drink wine and I know the things.“

What excites you about Bedales?

Since I joined Bedales I felt straight away the love for Hospitality and that simple but important thing I like Bedales.

What ‘s your go-to grape?

Nero d’Avola!

What are you drinking when not drinking wine?

When I’m not drinking wine, I’ll have a generous glass of Wodka Zubrowka.

When someone visits you in London, where MUST you take them?

I like to bring people who come to London for the first time, apart from tourist places, to my places such as parks, the riverside and all the markets around London.

What is the best cookbook you own?

My favourite cookbook is Larousse Gastronomique.
