Bedales will be open for all your New Years Eve bubbles and wines and to help cast of the post Christmas blues. Our Spitalfields and Borough market sites will be open all day Thursday & Friday and right up till 5pm on New Years Eve, while Leadenhall will be open all day Thursday and for lunch on Friday before closing for the New Years Eve weekend. Ever wanted to open a wonderful old wine, ever wondered what a wine thats older than you tastes like? We are offering 15 very lucky guests the chance to join our master of wine student and self-styled wine drinker Arnaud Compas on a journey through the vintages of Rivesaltes.

We will be opening three spectacular examples of Rivesaltes, Maury, Domaine Pla Del Fount, Roussillon, France from 1970, 1939 & 1929. This is a genuinely one off experience, the wines are stored and aged for decades in barrel and when bottled only released in very small quantities and we have been lucky enough to get our hands on a small selection of their vintages.

Join us for a Prosecco reception before being taken on a journey back in time as we savour these wonderful sweet reds and sip in amazement at their age, all accompanied by our traditional gourmet treats and of course the irrepressible Arnaud delivering his oenological sermon!

Our most intimate venue, Spitalfields Market can host groups of 15 - 30 in private and semi private settings. A wonderful location for small get togethers or hosted wine tastings we offer a range of packages to suit every style and budget.

BOROUGH MARKET

With the opening of our brand new cellar bar in the basement of Borough Market we can now offer private hire of this our most unique of venues. Bedales are honoured to welcome Deborah Cesari, scion of the Cesari family who are world renowned for their exquisite Amarone wines and proud holders of Italian Wine Producer of the Year 2006 & 2004 at The International Wine & Spirits Competition. She will be co-hosting a wine tasting with our very own self-styled wine drinker and Master of Wine student Arnaud Compas. This is an exceptional opportunity to taste not only exquisite wines, but do so in the presence of and with the expert guidance of the wine maker herself.

After a Prosecco reception we will be tasting six wines on the night, the Ripasso "Bosan" DOC, El Bosco Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC, Jemma DOC, "Bosan" Amarone, Reciotto della Valpolicella DOC and the extravagantly sumptuous Amarone Classico 1997. A tour de force of the Cesari family cellars all accompanied by Bedales own Cheese & Charcuterie platters, this promises to be a winter highlight for us!
