OPENING SOON: BOB's Lobster Wine Bar & Kitchen

BOB’s Lobster set out to challenge convention, stripping away white linen tablecloths and serving up seafood extravagance curbside on paper plates. The street food was created by Rob and the team behind Bedales of Borough to create a memorable food & wine pairing. BOB’s Lobster launched in July 2013 as a food & wine truck, getting their start trading in the evening time at Borough Market.
BOB’s Lobster will be parking up their beautiful VW split-screen food truck inside a new 1400sq ft. unit on St. Thomas Street, SE1 3QX. This will be BOB’s Lobster’s first permanent site with capacity for 55 guests and is scheduled to open mid-May 2018. BOB’s Lobster Wine Bar & Kitchen will be part of the newly renovated archway space under London Bridge Station.
BOB’s Lobster’s street food van has been listed amongst their many other accolades as one of the top 5 restaurant concepts in the world (The Manual), one of Mr. Porter’s ‘Seven of the Best Food Trucks’, one of  the ‘Best Pop-Ups’ (Yelp!), included within the ‘Quest for the Best Lobster Roll’ (Rebecca Seal, ES Magazine) and listed on Buzzfeed’s list of ‘London Street Foods You Must Eat Before you Die’. A Letter to Our Guests,

After 4 years of touring, pop-ups & collaborations, our little food truck has given us so much more than we ever envisaged or bargained for. Countless meals in countless neighbourhoods, running late into the night, a hangout for culinary tourists from all over the world, a front row seat at fashion shows and concerts and more lobster than you can imagine... all from possibly the smallest kitchen in the world. Of course, there were also countless van breakdowns, many midnight trips to the market, a distinct lack of sleep and the odd downpour, but we wouldn't change a thing!

We're excited to announce that it's time to hang up the keys and park ourselves in our first permanent site this year, right where it all began at London Bridge, delivering our signature seafood extravagance and stellar wines in a casual setting.

To our new neighbours and everyone who has visited the van or been a part of the BOB's Lobster family, we invite YOU ALL to celebrate the launch of our first permanent BOB’S Lobster Wine Bar & Kitchen.

Big hugs and many “thank yous” -

Rob, Jamie & Stephanie, Managment Team
