MEET THE BEDALES CREW: Dennis
Dennis Reus – PROJECT MANAGER
Where is home for you?
I was born in Holland.
What brought you to London?
I was bored of my day to day life back home and needed a change of surroundings!
What is it about wine that you love?
The mellowness
When someone visits you in London, where MUST you take them?
Fernandez & Wells on Lexington Street, Soho.
Where was the last place you ate, that just blew your mind?
On a recent visit to Rome, I had a Brioche bun filled with this amazing creamy Gelato, which I thought was just the best thing in the world.
How'd did you end up in hospitality?
A month before coming to London, I was on holiday in Aruba, where I would go to this bar on the beach, and the people working there seemed to always have so much fun. A month later I ended up in London and behind the bar in Covent Garden.
What is your first memory of Bedales Wines?
I was impressed with the flow and the space of the building. The spiral staircase and the location is pretty amazing, great for people watching.
What is your go-to-grape?
If it is on the list, Sylvaner - otherwise Albarino or Riesling.
What are you drinking when not drinking wine?
Water or Beer.
What is your favourite dish on the menu at Bedales of Borough?
The Cheese & Charcuterie platter!
What always ends up coming with you in your suitcase?
On the way back? Cheese & Charcuterie!
